A very beautiful (and very clean!) log cabin home! It rained the whole weekend we were here but we didn't care . . . sitting on the wrap around porch and watching the rain on the swaying trees and the watching the creek grow bigger & bigger was awesome! We also loved the oversized barbecue pit underneath the overhang of the porch - easily useable in the rain. We look forward to returning on a sunny weekend. And yes, the Whipporwills DID entertain us :!) The beautiful wood and stone work inside the house (and out) made for a very wonderful & relaxing environment. A++

I want to tell you what an absolutely wonderful time we had at the Carry On Inn! It was just great and I KNOW we will be coming back. We're talking about floating on the Meramec and then staying at the cabin sometime over the summer. We really used the bon fire pit in the yard. And thank you for having so much wood!! That was fantastic. It even snowed for us. Some of the kids hiked around. I got up early on Sunday morning and took a nice walk down the road before everyone was up. It was lightly snowing and just beautiful outside. We just loved it at your place. I'm thrilled we finally found a place closer to home, so reasonable and so comfortable.
